Honoring Felix Hildebrand's legacy

Felix Hildebrand, bass player, composer and a champion at connecting people initiated the On the Roof concert series in 2012. With this passion-driven project, he envisioned combining his love for music, his dedication for his neighbourhood of Amsterdam Noord and a will to always build bridges and foster human connections. What started as a self-described ‘crazy musical dream’, was then forged on his friendship with Gideon Hein, owner of this beautiful location, and became a yearly beloved summer tradition. Offering a creative space for artists young and old and creating the perfect circumstances for the public to enjoy top quality music in an intimate setting always has been and will remain On the Roof’s guiding principles and the way of honouring Felix’s legacy.
