KRUPA = Stefan Kruger and Joost Patocka, two drummers who have performed with basically everyone in the Dutch jazz world. Their supersonic band KRUPA & The Genes is formed by a fine selection of jazz men of name and fame from the Dutch scene: Anton Goudsmit (The Ploctones), Raphael Vanoli (Knalpot), Jasper Blom, Maarten Hogenhuis and Sean Fasciani. Their music bounces of the walls. It contains elements of jazz, classical music, film music and broken beat.

Joost Patocka plays with young talents as well as established names in Dutch jazz, from Ruben Hein and Reinier Baas to Benjamin Herman and Jesse van Ruller. Stefan Kruger is co-founder of successful Dutch bands such as New Cool Collective and Zuco 103. He has attracted international attention as the drummer and creative director of the Caro Emerald Band.
